Gallardos marks up the parts they obtain from outside vendors 100%. That means if you went to Napa Auto Parts and bought a wheel bearing for $120, you would be charged $240 from Gallardos if they got the same part from Napa. This is a rip off folks. Nobody consistently doubles the prices of parts. They also over charge in labor and will not be reasonable. If you bring in a car and tell them a wheel bearing is bad, they want the full 1 hour of labor at $100 an hour to look at just that. It takes 5 minutes to determine if a wheel bearing is bad. Another rip off. They also sell bad parts. They get the cheap stuff then mark it up as if it was quality. I had an experience where they left a brake line loose and my brakes faded. They also are horrible in writing work orders. Watch out for these people. You will ALWAYS pay too much. Gallardos is not owned/operated by the same folks from 1974. It's not Joe's anymore. Go down the street to the shops between Rocklin Rd and Midas Ave on Pacific St. They are honest and will let you buy your own parts for them to install. Much cheaper
